When I first started playing tennis
Tennis is a big part of my life. I started when I was 5, and I have been doing it ever since. Throughout the years, I have learned how to push myself, how to take criticism, and how to think cleverly. This knowledge has helped me in middle school and now high school. It has also helped me become more athletic and led me to pursue other sports. -
The birth of my brother
The day my brother was born brought a big change. I started to realize that I needed to become the bigger person, and I learned how to take responsibility. In everyday life it is necessary to behave accordingly, and to be accountable for your own actions. Having a younger brother helped immensely in how I act today. -
Invention of Facebook
Before Facebook, people were emailing one another and texting. When Facebook came along, both of these things were dropped. It was a revolutionary way to communicate with one another, share pictures, and find old friends. People could share their thoughts and feelings and would instantly receive comments. They could share photos for people in different countries to see. This social media has definately changed people's way of life because of its accessiblity and usefullness. -
The invention of Youtube
Youtube has become world- wide famous since its release. It is the most well known way of sharing videos, listening to music, watching videos (for entertainment or educational purposes), and even to browse on. People watching videos can comment on them which is one of the reasons why Youtube is a big attraction. It is not uncommon for organizations to use Youtube to broadcast a message or video. For some people, it has become a daily part of their life. -

The release of the Iphone was immediately a big hit. It was the first phone to have a touch screen, accessible internet, and applications. It was new technology, and a simple way of getting things done. Additionally, it could fit easily in a pocket and it looked good. To this day, newer models of iPhones have become huge hits due to the unbelievable advancement in technology for their time. -

The Meadows is my school, and I spend the majority of my time there. I arrived at the Meadows in fourth grade, and I am still enrolled. This school has made me become a more conceptual thinker, a better friend, and a smarter individual. -

The day I brought home my dog
December 13, 2009 was an extremely important day for me because after 5 years of begging, I got a dog. Before I knew it, I had to start taking care of him. There was no one there to constantly tell me to feed him or take him for a walk. I had to take responsibility which shaped me to become a conscious and independent person. -

Rowling has risen to immense success, and has earned herself the title of the only billionaire author. The brand itself is estimated to be worth around 15 billion dollars. This series encouraged kids to explore the fantasy genre, and to become more interested in reading. These novels had a major cultural impact.
