    The Black Death arrived in Europe by 1347 . The disease was acrried by fleas that had the infection , that were carried on rats who bit humans and caused them to have it . The Black Death was very contagious . In 1347 , there wasn't a cure for it either , so many people died from having this disease .

    In May of 1521 Martin Luther is officaly excommunicated for rebeling against the chruch and also for rebeling againts the king . The king asked Martin Luther to remove the 95 theses but he removed , and burned the kings letter , so he was excommunicated .

    The French and Indian war was fought between France and England . They both wanted control over the Ohio river valley . The Ohio rivervalley was already claimed by Indian Tribes and none were willing to give them the land . The war lasted from 1754- 1763

    The Treaty of Paris ends the war . The war had 4 sides involved . For France , the treaty lost all of their holdings in North America . They got to keep sugar producing . England has now become the most powerful country due to all the land they control .

    The British ship Gaspee patrolled the coast for smugglers . The captinand crew searched many ships without warrants . In 1772 , New England colonists boarded the ships and burned it . The colonial suspects were taken to stand trial .

    The tea tax of 1773 required the colonists to only buy British East India Company Tea and then placed tax on tea . On December 16, 1773 the sons of liberty dumped the British East India into the Boston Harbour .
  • Battle Of Lexington Concord

    Battle Of Lexington Concord
    Concord had a militia supply and the british wanted to take the suplies before the colonsists could get them . On April 8 , 1775 the British troops began to move from Boston to Concord , on April 19 , 1775 , the British arrived in Lexington . There was 8 colonists killed . All military supplis were moved from the depot . This is the first battle of the American Revolution .
  • 1st Continental Congress

    The first Continetal congress began Sept. 5 , 1775 . It was held in Philidelphia . There was 55 delegates from 12 colonies , excluding Georgia and it was written to declare loyalty to the king but coclemned the corcive acts . They agreed they would meet again in 1 year.

    Andrew Jackson removed all the indians from his land because he was racist towards the indians . Jackson was the president . He made all the indianas walk .

    The gold rush began with a man building a sawmill and finding gold . Word the got around and everyone travled to California in search of gold . By 1850 , gold was very had to find , so everyone left .

    The Oregon Trail stretched from Missouri to Oregon and was a 2,000 mile rail . Most of the pioneers had wagons but it was for supplies . Most of them had to walk . It was challenging crossing mountains and rivers .

    When the indians were getting removed . They had to walk to Oklahoma . It was called the trail of tears because most of the indians died on this trail .
