    Strongbow captures Dublin . He marries Dermot MacMurrough's daughter , becoming King.

    Henry II , Duke of Normandy , lands in Waterford. He takes over Dublin and creates an allegience wtih Irish kings and bishops.

    The Treaty of Windsor is signed by the high king of Ireland , Rory O' Connor and Henry II.
  • Death of Strongbow

    Death of Strongbow

    Strongbow dies transfering Leinster to Henry II. Rebellions occur against Rory O' Connor and the English.

    People from Wales, England and Flanders become new 'free' citizens. Many Irish citizens became 'serfs' The English language takes root and Early English Gothic style stone churches are built
