The Battle of Hastings happened on 14 October 1066 between the Norman-French army of Duke William II of Normandy and the English army that was leaded by King Harold the second. It all took place at Senlac Hill, very close to Hastings.

The cause of the Great Famine was the drop of temperature and many people (even wealthy castle owners) couldn’t grow grain. Some people tried to resolve this solution by eating the younger population and their own horses!

The Hundred Years’ War was a chain of wars beginning from 1337 until 1453 between the Kingdom of France and England. Funnily enough, this war did not go for one hundred year but for one hundred and six years. The end result of the war was a French victory.

The Black Death was a name given to a terribly disease called the bubonic plague that killed nearly two thirds of the Europe population. It started in England at 1348 and ended in 1351. The disease was caused by fleas and rats biting their victims and spreading the disease into their body.
