Mr.Bonaparte was a great military leader and at the age of 15 he got a scholarship to a military training collage in Paris. -

At this time Napoleon was 16 and he was already a second lieutenant. -
How he got famous in Paris
Napoleaon had sympathy for the French Revolution therefore he fought the supporters of the king and got fame for that. As a result for defending the people from the king and the kings supporters he was put in charge of the French Army. With the French army he fought many battles in Austria and Italy winning several victories. -
The Return of Napoleon
Napoleon returned from his battles to Paris after hearing that there has been a military chrisis. At this time Napoleon is 30 years old. He seized control of France in the 'coup d'etat' which is the military takeover. -

He made himself the first consul of Paris -
New laws
In 1804 he made a standard set of laws known as the Napoleonic Code. After that he wanted to expand the empire so he did but it didnt exactly work out for him -
A new Emperor
On this day he crowned himself Emperor at the age of 35. -
He finally starts to lose!
Napoleon finally starts to lose battles and that doesnt make the people happy. They start turning against him and he is sent to exile in 1814 and again in 1815
