The life of Miranda Perusek

  • Miranda Perusek is Born

This song is what my dad had hummed to me as he rocked me for the first time. The famous song My Girl. I was born at Lake Forest Hispital in Illinois. The day I was born my sister got to ring a bell that sounded all throughout the hospital signifying a baby had just been born. This day affects me because it makes me feel special about being celebrated and loved. It was just a great day over all.
  • I got STICHES!

I was running through the small hallways of a church trying to catch up to my mom's preschool class when I turned a corner and ran straight into a sharp piano. I cut my eyebrow open and blood was gushing. As my mom rushed me to the hospital I was holding paper towels to my head. I had to be held down by multiple nurses in order for the stitches to be put in. This left a scar above my eyebrow forever reminding me of that horrible day.
  • Deployment

I listened to this song before I went to sleep to calm me down. Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie In kindergarten I was starting a new advanced school so I was nervous. As I was getting used to the school we found out that my dad was deploying to Iraq for six months. This broke my heart. I had to wear one of his T-shirts and cologne in order to be able to sleep. It was hard but we made it through.
  • Locks of Love

When I was in second grade I had hair down past my waist. It was so thick and long I was going to get it cut. When I got it cut they told me I had enough to donate to locks of love whick is a foundation that makes wigs for those who don't have hair due to cancer and chemo. I cut off 15" of my hair and donated. It made me realise if I can turn something for myself into something for others, then I should do it. I learned I should give when I can.
  • EOG'S

This song was my theme song for third grade. Pocket Full of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield. In Third grade the EOG's began. • Married

This was our first wedding dance song. A thousand Year by Christina Perri.I got married to Jason after knowing each other for 6 ears. We never seperated while we were dating. We were inseperable. The day I go married I had a long flowing dress with no straps and lace covering the silk. It was perfect. This was the most amazing moment of my life, it changed me and how I saw the world.

On July 18th we had our first child James, named after my father. He was 8lbs 7oz and 21" long. He had dark brown hair and was so calm. He changed our lives. We now had a baby to take care of and love and he brought everyone in our families together.
  • Dog

As a decision to help James develop and grow, we got a dog. We got a small pomskey (half pomeranian and half huskey). The two were inseperable and James was growing so fast. This made my heart swell with love for both of my babies. We are a full family.
  • Brokent arm

James started walking and talking at 8 months. By the time he was three he was learning how to read. He was extremely advanced but was still a boy so he liked to rough house. When he was playing outside he was running around with the dog and fell off the curb and broke his arm. He had to get a cast and It terrified me. I learned that things like that will happen and I have to loosen up because he is a boy after all.
  • Baby Belle

Ten days before my birthday we had our baby girl Belle. Her name means intellegent, fair, lovely, and beautiful. She was all of the above. She was the prettiest baby tere was. In fact she resembeled James. James was a little upset to not be an only child but he is so protective of her it is amazing. I have grown as a mother and my life is full of love with my whole family.
