    Jacob Bucior is born.
I was born in Detroit on October 1st, 1996. I was lucky to be born in the U.S because all the rest of my family was born in Poland. Being born on this date did not give me and advantage in any sport, which Gladwell believed it would. I lived in Hamtramck until I went to first grade in Grosse Pointe.

    Polish Culture

Polish I learned Polish as soon as i was born. It is spoken everyday of my life when I come back from school. I doubled my education by going to school 6 days a week, meaning on Saturdays I would go to Polish School. This helped me in many ways in life and back in the days, my family had to work very hard. My family working hard made myself try my best and do the best quality work I can.
  • Moving To Grosse Pointe

    Moving To Grosse Pointe
Moving to Grosse Pointe was one of the greatest advantages in my life. My parents were divorced and I was very glad that my mom had the ability financial wise to move here and go to the great schools. I met great freinds in Grosse Pointe and I worked very hard. I had to learn English and these schools provided the best help. Gladwell states that it matters where you move and go to school and I agree every single aspect of that
  • Practical Intelligence

    Practical Intelligence
When I was in 5th grade, that is when practical intelligence helped me alot. Gladwell talks about how some people do not have that and have trouble communicating with others and just don't have that common sense. I was always very talkative and loved to share things. I was not afraid to express any of my ideas. I also had that common sense and that is what is needed today in everday life
  • ZHP Boy Scout Summer Camp

    ZHP Boy Scout Summer Camp
This was a boy scout camp that I went to during the summer. It kept me very active and with friends. Gladwell talks about how some children study during the summer and this camp helped me learn many things that I use today in my everyday life. We learned many things such as history, maps, etc. Also this was a Polish Organization and this kept my culture up.
