    Crawling to walking
At the age of 1, I began walking. My parents say I didn't crawl for too long. I wanted to be on my feet! They bought me the proper shoes and let me have at it!

    Elementary....
Today I begin my school years in elemetary school. Ms. James was my teachers name. She wore a yellow dress almost eveyday. It must have been her favorite color. I began reading in this class. I loved books with color and lots of pictures. I especially loved when they were read to me!
  • A new family member/friend :)

    A new family member/friend :)
I was in the 5th or 6th grade at Baylor Elementary School of Inkster, MI, when I met my cousin, Lalie. She was a little younger than me at the time. Being that my father is from Jamaica, I had lots of family members I had never even met nor heard of. When La and her mom came to live with my parents and I, it was the best thing that ever happened to me! We got along so well. We never argued really, we showed each other new things, and we learned alot about different stuff over the years.
  • Family trips.....

    Family trips.....
I remember going to Boblo Island every year during the summer. This was like my "get away" from my neighborhood. I would play all the games on the boat, listen the the music, dance with my family and friends, etc. I hated when the boat passed a garbage landfill. The smell is something I would never forget!

    High School Life....

This is where Iearned alot about myself. I have many friends, were in many after school programs, participated in many clubs, and lost a few "friends". I learned how to socialize and how to be a real frend. I hung with the "smarties" so maintaining a high GPA wasn't much of an issue. We took extra classes in our Junior year just so we can go to Co-op during our Senior year. It was wonderful to work, learn a skill at at real place of employment, and earn high school credits and a paycheck!
