    It is writen from the point of view from a black house maid, Aibileen. She tells us about how the rich white families higher the black maids to take care of there childern, She tells us about Mae Mobley the baby she is taking care of right now. She tells us how the whiote mothers dont even know how to take care of there own childern.
  • Chapter 3 to Chapter 5. 31 to 55

    This is now writen from the point of view from Minny Jackson. Another black maid/nanny. In the beginning of the 3rd chapter it is in the sign of her going on an interview for a white women named Celia Foote.Later in the chapters it tells us how she gets the job. It is made clear that Celia is a racist
  • Chapter 5 to Chapter 7, 55 to 91

    From chapter 5 to 7 it is writen in the point of view of Miss Skeeter. She is a write white girl who grew up with a african american nanny. In Chapter five she tells us about her mother, her old nanny, Constantine, and about her best friends Hilly and Elizabeth. In chapter 6 Skeeter gets a job at Jacksons Journal, and when Skeeter tells her friends all they care about is trying to get her a husband. Skeeter doesnt agree with them, she is different then the others.
  • Chapter 7 to Chapter 11, 91 to 143

    Chapter 7 is writen in Aibileen's point of view, Chapter 8 is writen froms Skeeter's point of view, so is 9, Then chapter 10 is writen from Minny's point of view. Aibileen tells a story about Mae Mobley some more and how she takes care of her. They are all called "the help."In Chapter 8 to 9 Skeeter gets a phone call from Elaine Stein and she tells skeeter that she likes what shes writen but that she needs to get more. In chapter 10 Minny just describes and gives her thoughts about working.
  • Chapter 11 to Chapter 14. 143 to 183

    In 11 Skeeter confronts Aibleen about helping her write her book to give to the women in New York. After some convincing from Skeeter Aibleen agrees and they start writing. Chapter 12 Skeeter and Aibleen are now meeting every other night to write. Skeeter and Aibleen are trying to get more of the maids to help them write and get stories. And they finally convice Minny to tell her stories about being the help.
  • Chapter 14 to Chapter 19 183 to 239

    Threw chapter 14 to chapter 17 it is writen in the point of view of Aibileen. Minny, Skeeter, and Aibileen are still writing the book. At the beginning of 14 minny is Starting to rethink some of the stuff she has told Skeeter. From 17 to 19 is in the point of view of Minny. In these chapters Miss Celia gets really sick and starts bleeding and Minny is forced to call the doctor. Sh had a miss carrage snd minny and Celia are forced to hid it from her husband.
  • Chapter 19 to 24, 239 to 301

    Chapter 19 to 22 are writen by Skeeter, then 22 to 24 are writen by Aibileen. IN Skeeters chapters he and Stuarts realatioship starts to progress, and also Skeeter frinally breaks the friendship of Hilly and her by printing the wrong add in the paper for hill.
  • Chapter 24 to 27 301 to 343

    24 is writen from Millys point of view, 25 is not from any curtai person it is all about the Hillys benefit, and then 26 is writen in the point of view of Milly. At the Benefit Celia and Hilly have a stand off and Celia just pretty much calls Hilly out on a lot of stuff that she has done wrong because celia is drunk.
  • Chapter 27 to 29, 343 to 389

    These chapters are writen from Skeeters point of view. Skeeter gets a deadline for when the book needs to be done and sent to New York, and she is felling regret about the stunt she pulled on Hilly.In chapter 27 Skeeters mom tells her what really happened to Constantine.
  • Chapter 29 to Chapter 32, 389 to 410

    Chapter 29 is writen by Aibileen, 30 is writen by Minny, 31 is writen by Aibileen, and 32 is writen by Minny. in 29 miss Leefolt goes out and buys a copy of the book. They are not scared that people are going to find out that the book was writen about the people of Jackson because Hilly will be telling people its not Jackson becaus e then people will know about her secrect.
  • Chapter 32 to 34 412 to 451 pages

    This is the end of the book snd it just pretty much sums up everyones feelins on the book and Skeeter moves off to new york. When veryone back home stays friends.
