In chapter one Nick finds out that Daisy has a little girl, Tis is significant becuase Gatsby does not know that Daist "loves" another man or has a kid. -
Chapter Two
We meat Myrtle and George wilson. This is significant because you find out that Myrtle is cheating on George with Tom later in the chapter. -
Chapter Three
Nick is invited to Gatsby's party and Gatsby is introduced. This is significant because Nick id the only person that has ever been invited to one of Gatsby's parties. -
Chapter Four
You find out that Gatsby and Daisy dated five years ago and broe up because Gatsby had to go to war. This is significant becuase Gastby tried to get Daisy back after five years of being apart. -
Chapter five
Gatsby asks Nick to invite Daisy over to his house for lunch. This is significant because this is the fist time Daisy and Gatsby have spoken after five years. -
Chapter Six
We find out that Gatsbyy really isnt who he says he is. This is significant because After DAisy finds out she doesnt want to be with him anymore. -
Chapter Seven
Gatsby's Car kills Myrtle. This is significantbecause everyone thinks its Gatsby that was driving when really its Daisy. -
Chapter Eight
Gatsby stays up waiting for Daisy all night. This is significant because she never calls him or anything and he realizes that she doesnt want him anymore. -
Cahpter Nine
Nick is trying to get people to come to Gatsby's funeral but everyone says they can't come. This is significant because everybody claims to be his friend but nobody shows up to his funeral when he dies.
