Chapter 6 is the chapter when the ceremony happens. -
chapter 7
chapter 7 is when they are preparing and getting ready for the ceremony. -

they just started the ceremony with the chief speaking. -

Jonas had got the assignment and he got a role called the reciver and got all the instructions and work. -

he goes into the house of the old to go into his work area where the giver will be to train him. -

The giver started to do tests on jonas in the annex room. -

jonas and the giver a talk about release and releasing because his father a nurtuer had to release a newborn female. -

Jonas and the giver went to the hall of closed records and saw his father releasing (killing) the newborn child. -

Jonas is in shock what releasing actually is and he is very mad. -
chapter 21
gabriel or gabe the visitor is getting released in the morning the next day so jonas was really mad and took gabe and ran away on his dads bike. -

Jonas is really tired, injured ,thirsty loike the beggers and he can't stand the cold and getting really weak. -
chapter 23
jonas and gabe are near a village but they don't know but they see snow and they both hear music for the first time
