    Tom wanted to keep the baseball field, but Doc ws going to sell the land. So Doc offered a challenge for Dilliontown Wildcats to play a club team in a baseball game. Then if the Wildcats win, they would get to keep the field. If they lose, the field would be bulldozed.

    the team wanted del gato but they were scared of going to his house because he has guard dogs and blood thirsty mountain lions. So they decided not to go. So they cleaned up the baseball field to practice.

    Cruz de la Cruz wanted to sign up for a baseball camp, but there wasnt one where he lived, so he found out about dillontown on the internet. Then he rode over the mountains for fifty miles.
  • Chapter 5

    the citizens of dillontown wanted to win the baseball game, but the citizens thought that Me.Gallagher was going to betray them, so they told him that they didnt want him coaching the baseball team anymore. Then Mr.Gallagher told them he wasnt going to quit.
  • Chapter 6

    Cruz wanted to know about the prophecy. But the other players didnt want to talk about it, so they told tall tales of Dillontown. Then Cruz asked Tom to go with him to Del Gato's.
  • Chapter 12

    Del Gato wanted the team to develop eye-hand coordination and quick reflexes, but Mr.G was skeptical, so Mr.G went down the hill first.
  • Chapter 14

    Cruz wanted to show the computer program to Del Gato, but Del Gato left practice to avoid a fight, so Cruz went to Doc's later to show Del Gato the program. Then Cruz heard Del Gato tell the secret of the art of hitting.
  • Chapter 15

    Cruz still wanted to show the computer program, but they didnt have the right equipment to make it work, so they borrowed equipment from Mrs.G's library. Then they showed the team how to use it on the screen.
  • Chapter 17

    The Tv reporters wanted to inerview Del Gato, but Del Gato ignored them, so they interviwed maggie and the mayor. Then they interviewed Cruz.
  • Chapter 16

    Doc wanted Tom to forgive him, but Tom didnt know what Doc was talking about, so he accepted the apology and said everything was going to be okay. Then Doc wrote in Toms book.
  • Chapter 18

    Tom and Cruz wanted to get the simulator game working, but they needed to install mini cameras and put red velcro on the sweetspots of the bats, so the team pitched in to help. Then Cruz tested it out and got a homerun.
