Tom wanted to keep the baseball field, but He has to beat the best baseball team to keep the baseball field. -
Chapter 5
Daisy Ramirez, A singer for the martching band. A lot of the dillontown citizens went to the camp and tried to persuade Mr. Galager to stop coaching them, and Mr. Galllagers response was never. Then Cruz asked Tom if he could take him to Del Gatos in the dark. -
Chapter 6
Cruz wanted to know about the prophicy, but Tom and the other players didn't want to talk about it. So they told him about some of the legends. Then Cruz believed them. -
Chapter 4
Cruz wanted to learn about and meet the crazy man(Del Gato), and the players were telling him that he only comes out at night, and telling bad stories about Del Gato to scare Cruz so he dossn't meet him. Then the next day Mr. Gallager made them clean the baseball field. -
Chapter 2
Tom wanted to win the baseball game, but he didn't have enought players. Tom wanted to quit the team, then Cruz Del La Cruz roed up to the baseball field. -
Chapter 3
Cruz wanted to join the baseball camps, but there were no baseball camps in Paloma. So he searched the internet and drive ti Dillontown baseball camp. Then he wanted to meet Dante Del Gato. -
Chatper 12
Del Gato wanted to coach, but Mr.G was skeptical about his methods, so Mrs.G volunteered to go down the hill first. Then Mr.G was convicnced and let everyone go down -
Chapter 13
Del Gato wanted to help Tom's team get better, but the team was a bunch of winners, so he had Marua pitch to the boys. Then they learned he knew his stuff and they would gain new pathways -
Chapter 14
People were at Maggies house eating when the Mayor showed up. He was wanting to see how the team was doing, and the Mayor dossn't want to keep the baseball field. Del Gato wanted to coach, but he said there is not a rat's chance he's gonna quit -
Chapter 15
The Mayor left, and Cruz was talking with Tom about the secret of hitting. He said he found out the secret of hitting when he was younger. Also he said that he would charge people 25 cents if he hit the ball, and he would give them a dollar if he missed it. -
Chapter 18
Tom and Cruz wanted to get the Simulator game working, but they had to get the red velcro on the bats and the minicams set up, so the wholw team pitches in ti get it done. Then they had to try it out. -
Chapter 16
Doc appoliiges for puttiing so much preasure on Tom, and Tom said its ok. then to show that he means the appoligy Doc says: what about cooking some hotdogs and hambugers in the field with the grill.Tom just asked himself why is there a TV crew here? Thats because they want to interview Doc before the game. -
Chapter 19
The Town's people wanted to help the Wildcats by cleaning up the baseball field to look nice, but the Mayor and Mr.Johnes criticized them, so Maria speaks up against them. Then the whole team went to practice. -
Chapter 20
Del Gato want the team to practice for thr game, but ESPN, and a lot of news reporters were there and destracted them, so Del Gato told the team to pay no attention. Then they believed they had a chance to win the baseball game. -
Chapter 21
Mr.Jones wanted Doc's land to be sold, but the Wildcats were looking like they might jhave a chance to win, so Mr.Jones threatened Tom. Then Tom was imaging how it would be like to live without a house. Then Tom speaks up to Mr.Jones, and Mr.Jones did'nt like that. -
Chapter 22
This chapter is about, the team was wanting to sleep, but they could'nt because they were going to play in the "Big Game," so Rachel gave them a pep talk. Then they all fall asleep. -
Chapter 23
Tom wanted to find Cruz, but Maria said she had a dream that Cruz left, and she said he was at the baseball field, so they had to figure out who is going to pitch. Then they started playing the game. -
Chapter 24
The team wanted to win the game, but Maria got hurt, so Tom had to pitch. Then Tom pitches then out of the inning with the Wildcats down one. -
Chapter 25
The Wildcats needed at least 2 points to win the game, but Tom was the teams weakest hitter, and Rachel keeps on telling him to relax. Then Tom hits a pop fly.
