    Henry II Inherits the throne

    Henry II inherited the throne and decided to build a basis for Common Law, this law was enforce in all of England. The citizens disliked Common Law, but since the Royal Courts charged money, it helped the royal justice grow.

    Philip gave money to middle-class people instead of the Nobles to give a hand in the government. He sent people to place around the country which made a new national tax. He got control over English lands by making wars and causing trouble.

    King John was forced to sign the Magna Carta (great charter) and it did 2 important things. 1) forced monarchs to obey the laws and 2) gave nobles rights, that were later extended to all free-men
