    In the book its states “it's so important to start prenatal care as early as possible — ideally, before a woman even becomes pregnant. ”(health7.4) It's important that when you are pregnant you need to see your doctor as soon as possible. I say this because there could be smoothing going on between you or your baby that's where a doctor comes to play to help you and the baby.

    In the book it states “Many factors affect the development of a fetus into a healthy child, some which are beyond your control and others that are within your control.”(health7.4) It's important you take care of your health as well as staying away from certain things that could harm you or your baby during your pregnancy. Some things you should stay away from are alcohol, smoking, and caffeine. Many teens get pregnant early which isn't good for her or the baby because she can drop out of school.

    My friends sister was also pregnant at a young age. Things were hard for her at first because she knew nothing about baby's. She had to ask her mom for help, and thought it was a big burden. In the book it states “Teen parents tend to leave school or not attend college, which limits their potential contributions to society and prospects for career advancement.”(health7.4) this is exactly what happened to her she dropped out of high school before graduating.
