Saturday night after our weekly bath and hair washing, we sat in front of the BW TV watching Lawrence Welk and having our hair curled.

I did not have an 8-track player, but my friends all did...well their older brothers did. We loved taking their cars and their tapes and driving on the back roads and around the fields. We were to young to have driver licenses.

I ask my mother for a Getto Blaster for Christmas. She thought it was a weapon and wanted to ground me.

Ok...maybe this picture is too old, but they were black, with a manual return, and they were noisy

My first electric typewriter was my graduation present. It had a self corrector, which meant that I had to buy a roll of white coverup tape and back spaces and then retype the letters where I had made a mistake.

Green screen and all...we thought we were so cool. I don't remember if it really did anything besides act as a word processor.

My husband, an IT guy, had to upgraded every year to the latest and greatest PC. I got his cast off, which was only a year old...so I just had just figured out and became comfortable a system and had to relearn. Then I curse him...now I am grated at having the experience.

Loved this flip phone. It felt so cool to flip it open and flip it closed. Took me years to upgrade.

Still have it, but I feel wrinkles and gray hair popping out when I turn it on want wait for it to work now. Of course it was a hand-me-down from the hubby.

Started at SJE and received my first Apple Laptop...I loved it.
