They were first invented in 1960’s.They are robotic suits used for people that are immobilized so they can move. They have evolved to be lighter on people and stronger. They are also used by the military now so tasks are easier for soldiers. -
Plasma TVs
The plasma TV was invented in July 1964. It has evolved to be lighter and to have a flat screen. It’s a tv that can be hung up on a wall. -
Video Editting
This was invented in the 1980’s for video editing. Originally, huge machines were made to edit movies and videos/ Now, there are programs on computers for video editing so specific machines aren’t needed. Videos or clips from videos are processed into the computer and the editor can do whatever he/she wants with it. -
Lap tops
Similar ideas were proposed in the early 1970’s. The lap top was Invented in 1981. It’s a computer that is portable since you don’t have to plug in any processers. It has evolved to be smaller and some now have built in cameras. -
Touch Screen Items
Items such as the Ipod touch and smart phones are made with a certain kind of glass that have touch sensors on them. They have become popular after the Iphone in 2007. It has evolved greatly since. You can just tap on the thing you want to bring up on touch screens and it will come up. -
Activ Boards
Activ boards are large interactive white boards. It needs to be hooked up to a computer and a projector In order for it to work. The first version was made in the UK in February 2001. -
Ipods
The ipod was unveiled in Oct 23, 2001. This is an Mp3 player that can download pictures and games too. There are now different versions of the Ipod like the Ipod nano or Ipod touch. -
Xbox 360
A game system where you can play online and talk to friends. You can also download things like Netflix and YouTube to watch videos. It ws launched in the US in November 2,2005. -
Voice command
It’s software that is installed in things like laptops and Ipod touches where you can speak to the item and it processes what you said and it brings up what you need. It was first used in 2006. -
Wii U
This is a smaller version of the Wii gaming system. The Wii U is a handheld console that has a touch screen and basic things like knobs and buttons.
