This is how we listened to music in my house. I remember my mom getting out the records, especially when it was time to clean. She would put on Lionel Richey, "Dancing on the Ceiling," and other songs and we'd clean and sing away to the music.

I remember these from when I was very little. I think my parent's car actually had an 8 track player in it.

This was my computer.

I remember getting my Sony Walkman for Christmas in 4th grade. Some of my favorites to listen to were Dolly Pardon, Eddie Rabbit, and others.

I remember my first time seeing a computer. I was in 5th Grade and our 5th grade classes got two computers to share between all three classes

I remember getting a boombox in junior high. This may or may not have been my first boombox. It appears that this might have a CD player on top. My first one did not but this one does have detachable speakers (of course they had wires, no wireless at this point), but I thought this was the coolest thing!

I was so excited when we got a computer in our house. It was the best to be able to type your papers on this instead of typing them on a typewriter. The two games that it had on it were a little fun too.

The music on a CD was novel. I loved my portable player. It was the coolest thing because you could plug in a cassette that hooked up to your CD player and play your CD's through the car.

Skipping several years, this was my first experience with my own Apple technology. After my husband died, I figured that I had to be the one to keep up with technology for our family. I bought a 32 gig Apple iPod. It took me a while to figure out how to download music and movies but I loved it. I still have it.

This is my computer now. This is how I access music, do my math, draw, and many other things. I love my Surface Book!!

This is where everything is now! My planner, my music, my computer can even be here. It's amazing what this little thing that fits in my back pocket can do!!
