These are governed universities. Includes a total of 16 institutes that offer undergraduate students an opportunity to earn degrees in physics, engineering, math, and chemistry. This gave students of India the oppurtunity to earn an education in a science field so that they could earn good jobs.

A border dispute near the Himalayas caused a war between China and India. Neither countries deployed Navies or Air forces during the war and most of the battles were fought in the harsh climates of the Himalayas. What this war did to India was that it made them realize that they needed to e more prepared incase something like this happened again. It caused a change in the way India's military was run.
