    My 1st Birthday
    i was born in Milk street , Cripplegate, London . My father , John More , was a wealthy barrister and my mother , Agnes , was a wealthy merchant.

    In 1485 , i started school at St Anthony's School in Threadneedle Street , London, chiefly in Latin.

    Achievments

    This year was a great year for me. i became a page at Lambeth Palace as favour of Cardinal John Morton. I was also granted the title of Archbishop of Canterbury , Chancellor of Oxford University, Lord Chancellor of England and was given the honour to be King Henry VII's right-hand man . Two years later , in 1942, i had become a student at the Canterbury College and St Mary's Hall , Oxford St University.

    In 1494, i began to study Law at the New Inn , London before becoming a student at the Lincolns Inn in 1496. It was a great school , and i was surrounded by many different and intelligent people.

    New Friends
    During 1499 i began to meet a whole new group of people who were scholars which studied Greek Literature. Two of the men who i became quiet good friends with were Willian Grocyn and Thomas Linacre. They had taught me how to speak the Greek language . Later on in that year i had met a man named Desiderius Erasmus who had soon become one of my close friends . We shared a great bond and had alot in common.

    In 1505 , i married the love of my life , Jane Colt who was the daughter of Essex Landowner. We soon moved into the Old Barge , Bucklersbury , London . Not long after, my wife had given birth to our first born , Margaret More.

    A Great Friendship.
    My close friend Erasmus stayed at my house for quiet a while whilst we worked together on translating Lucian into Latin . I also helped him write his book, ‘defense of the seven sacraments'.

    In 1510 i had become th MP for London and was appointed Under-Sherrif of the City. It was great to hear this good news.

    My wifes death

    My wifes death
    My first wife had passed away in 1511. It was a very big downfall for me and caused me stress and depression for a while. One lady , Alice Middleton , the widow of a London Merchant, was there for me when i was down and we had soon become very close. I had asked for her hand in marriage and no long after , she had become Alice More.

    In 15 17 i traveled to Calais to join the service of King Henry VIII as his Councellor Attendant.

    I was appointed as the Under-Treasurer of the Echequer and was presented with a knighthood.

    I had become the speaker of the House of Commons. I also supported King Henry VIII's controversy with Luther by writing 'Responsio ad Lutherum'.

    In 1525 i was given the title of Chancellor of the Dutchy of Lancester.

    Supreme Head

    In 1531, i was given the title of 'Supreme Head of the Church and Clergy of England'. It was King Henry VIII who had adopted this title for me. This was excepted by the Convocation of Canterbury.

    Resign
    This is the year in which I resigned as Lord Chancellor and decided to move back to my home in Chelsea to live my private life again but I still continued a religious controversy with my good friend William Tyndale.

    Taking a Stand

    The first time I go against my King was in 1534, when I refused to take the oath required by the Act of Succession and I was sent to the tower as punishment. This where I had written, ' A Dialogue of Comfort Agsint Tribulation' and I had undergone five interigations.

    I was charged for denying the Supremacy, therefore I was sentenced to be beheaded on Tower Hill infront of hundreds of people. My head was then hung and impaled on London Bridge.
