    Chapter 1 - Introduction of Main Characters & Plot
    The main characters are Jessie, Ms. Muller, Maureen, Ada, Lizzie Mag The plot of the story is to figure out whether the teacher they really like, Ms. Muller, is a Nazi spy.
  • Chapter 2 - Jesse follows Ms. Muller

    Chapter 2 - Jesse follows Ms. Muller
    When leaving the bathroom at night, Jessie sees Ms. Muller and follows her.
  • Chapter 3 - Air Raid

    Chapter 3 - Air Raid
    When an air raid forces everyone into a bunker, Ms. Muller shows up at the last minute. The girls are suspicious and think it is too much of a coincidence that there was a bombing and she was outside.
  • Chapter 4 - The Kiss

    Jessie and Ian McManus kiss in the dark bunker, and Ian looks sheepish after the kiss and says "Oh cheese, wouldn't you know it." after he sees who he kissed..

    Carol Murchison finds a dead chick in the hard boiled egg that she cracked open for breakfast. Some of the girls thought it was a German under the table because Carol screamed when she saw the dead chicken.

    A girl named Little Hillary tells Jessie and a girl named, Flash, about a picture in Ms. Muller's room. It is a picture of Ms. Muller's father in a Nazi uniform. Little Hillary found out this information from a maid.

    Chapter 7 - The Picture Behind the Picture
    Jessie decides to investigate Ms. Muller's room. After going to the nurses office, she is ordered to her room because her clothes are wet. She uses this time to sneak into Ms. Muller's room. She finds a picture of Ms. Muller and her mother. With further investigation she finds Ms. Muller's fathers picture behind it. It say's "To my Dear Daughter Daphne. Honor the fatherland. August 1938."

    Chapter 7 - Jessie's Opinion Changes
    Jessie no longer likes Ms. Muller and believes she is a Nazi spy because of the picture.
  • Chapter 8 - Greta Ludowski

    Chapter 8 - Greta Ludowski
    Greta is introduced to the story. Jessie lies to her by telling her she can spy with her and her friends on Ms. Muller. She does this because Greta's father was killed by Germans.
  • Chapter 9-The Ball Bearings and Poem

    Chapter 9-The Ball Bearings and Poem
    A boy sneaks ball bearings into Ms. Muller's class. While Ms. Muller reads a German poem to the class, he rolls them along the floor until the floor lined with them. Ms Muller gets mad, but can't figure out who did it.

    The boarding school was letting all of the students call their parents to let them know they were ok after the air raid. When Jesse calls her parents, they offer to take her home. She decides to stay.
  • Chapter 11 - The Favor

    Ms. Muller asks Jessie for a favor. She asks Jessie to get the other girls to warm up to her. Since Jessie thinks she's a spy, Jessie is very sure she wants to help.

    A girl named Pat Crow goads Ms. Muller about the bomb the Germans dropped, trying to get a reaction out of her. This works, Ms. Muller responds by saying, "Germans are dying day and night. You think your Royal Air Force doesn't drop bombs on us." This makes Jessie and her friends feel even more like she is a spy.
  • Chapter 12 - Letter from Ian

    Chapter 12 - Letter from Ian
    Jessie receives a love letter from Ian saying that he liked kissing her and he hoped that she had no ill feelings about it. He also wants to see her again. The only feelings that Jessie had were a "semi-heart attack" and "smoldering intestines". (yuck)

    Jessie receives the news from her father that her cousin, Bryan, was captured by Germans and is a prisoner of war.
  • Chapter 14 - Comfort

    Chapter 14 - Comfort
    Old Rose comforts Jessie after she hears the news about her cousin.
  • Chapter 15 - Argument

    Chapter 15 - Argument
    Ms. Muller comes in to say goodnight to the girls. Jessie is very upset about her cousin, which makes Jessie speak very harshly to Ms. Muller about German war camps. Ms. Muller gets mad and stomps off. When Ms. Muller opens her door, Carols egg with the baby chicken falls on top of her. Which makes her yell at the girls thinking it was their fault when it was really Hillary's.
  • Chapter 16 - Where Has She Gone?

    Chapter 16 - Where Has She Gone?
    Jessie hears Ms. Muller at night, wakes up her friends and they decide to follow her. What they find surprises them. Ms. Muller takes them to the rooftop, but she isn't there when they get there. They find her in the coffin room.
  • Chapter 17 - The Truth Comes Out

    Chapter 17 - The Truth Comes Out
    Ms. Muller is not alone in the coffin room. The girls find her holding hands with Mr. Bolton. At this time, they realize Ms. Muller is not a spy, but a lady in love. The reason for she was sneaking around was not because she was a Nazi spy, but because teachers were not allowed to date each other.
