Chapter 1
Tony is tired of his daily routine, and is longing for a big event that could change things up. While walking, he finds a dog that he names King Arthur. He tries to convince his parents to keep the dog, and they decline his offer. -

Chapter 2
Cindy sits at the bus stop with her grandmother, her main guardian. After finding out the bus will be two hours late, her grandmother offers to take Cindy home, to which she declines. After her grandmother leaves, Cindy starts to hitchhike. -

Chapter 3
As Cindy hitchhikes, she’s picked up by a man named David. They talk for a bit, and she asks to be dropped off on the road. As she continues to walk, Tony drives up, with his mother’s stolen car, and offers her a ride. -

Chapter 4
As Tony and Cindy make small talk, Tony talks about how he’s trying to find his dog, King Arthur. They decide to drive to a diner since the weather is getting worse. Tony decides to try and leave Cindy at the diner, and this irritates her. As they keep driving, Cindy also realizes that Tony was lying about knowing where he was going. She becomes frustrated, and turns the wheel, leading the car to crash. -

Chapter 5
After crashing the car, Tony is furious at Cindy, not knowing what to do about telling his family. They then realize that they won’t get out of being lost alone, and they decide to start working together to get out of the woods. They try and think of ways to get out, but nothing is really figured out, other than the fact that nobody is coming to help anytime soon. -

Chapter 6
We start off with Cindy having a terrible dream, and waking up Tony, because she thought he had gotten carbon monoxide poisoning. She then leaves and finds her bag, cookies, and comes back to show Tony what she’s found. -

Chapter 7
Cindy gets frostbite on her feet, and they try to figure out how to help warm them up. After figuring out they need to start a fire, Tony starts thinking about how his father is probably looking for him, despite the snowstorm upon them. Over time, both of them realize their rescuers may not come at all. -

Chapter 8
The two try and figure out where to start a fire, as outside is too windy, and inside the car is all they have. Tony doesn’t want to start a fire in the car, but Cindy is starting to become impatient. After using a cigarette lighter, they finally have a fire in the car that they can use to warm Cindy and Tony. -

Chapter 9
Cindy is trying to ration the cookies from her grandmother, in case they are outside for longer, but Tony is more impatient. He immediately digs his hand into the tin, annoying Cindy as she’s trying to save up the food. Outside is getting worse, and the two figure out dinner themselves. Tony and Cindy talk for a bit, and then they notice that the snow has stopped, hopeful that they can leave by tomorrow. -

Chapter 10
Tony and Cindy think of ways to get help after the snow has stopped, and they start shouting for help until their voices are hoarse. Tony goes to find some wood, and Cindy accidentally lets the fire go out. After getting the fire back up and running, the two talk about their social life, and what people like them or not.
