When you are a baby you need twice as much sleep as there adults do but they sleep in different patterns so they get it in a different cycle. Atleast thats what baby center says

When you are 5-12 years old they call you a aged children but they say you need ten to eleven hours of sleep which is probably good

when i was ten i was still not a teenager but you still need lots of sleep becasue you are still doing lots of things becasue you are getting older and starting to be outside and doing alot more
