Irene McCormack died in Peru on 21st of May in 1991 at around 6:00pm while working as a missionary. She was executed in a village by a group called 'Shining Path' also known as 'Sendero Luminoso'. The group is a Maoist Reble organisation. They thought helping the poor was shameful and a crime.
