Irene goes and arrives in Peru on the 15th of August, 1991.

Irene travels across Peru to the small town of Huasahuasi. It is in this town that Irene will be killed.

Although Irene is warned of the danger of the Shining Path by the local parish priests, she refuses to abandon the Peruvians.
