My Goal
I plan to save $1000 for college money by using the opportunity of saving $85 from my paychecks each month for an entire year. -
Month 1
I should have saved $85 by now. I saved this by not buying waiting to get the new penny board I wanted. -
Month 2
I will have save $170 by now. I saved this by not eating out as much in the last month. -
Month 3
I will have saved $255 by now. I did this by not buying the shoes I wanted for the new school year. -
Month 4
I will have saved $340 by now. I will have saved this by not getting a mani pedi this past month, doing it myself and slowing down on the coffee buying. -
Month 5
I have saved $425 by now. I will have saved this by either buying a cheaper version or not buying at all, the boots I wanted for fall. -
Month 6
I will have saved $510 by now. I will have saved this by not going out over thanksgiving break with friends. -
Month 7
I will have saved $595 by now. I will have saved this by not buying too many gifts or expensive ones for Christmas. -
Month 8
I will have saved $680 by now. I will have saved this by staying in more on the weekends. -
Month 9
I will have saved $765 by now. I will have done this by saving money on shopping in the past month. -
Month 10
I will have saved $850 by now. I will have saved this by not buying new soccer cleats for this season and using last years. -
Month 11
I will have saved $935 by now. I will have saved this by not purchasing new swimsuits for the summer and just use what I already have. -
Month 12- ONE YEAR
I have met my goal with a little extra at $1,020. I will have made it this month by using more of my paycheck towards my savings.
