    Sicily Itay, We live in a run down home with rats runing around. My father worked at the docks, with little money he made he put it towards his booze. Finally he said "enough is enough" and gather me and my mother 8th months pragunat. We hoped to gain a better life and my fathe rto get a better job. I write this to show you the hard times it was for me and my family.
  • Boss Tweed!

    My family meets up at the exit of Ellis Island and for the first time we meet Boss Tweed. He was a big man and i could tell he was gready from the first time i meet him. He gave us an ampartment and gave my father a job working at the port. We got to are new home and what a nasty place it was.
  • Hello America

    Ellis island, We reached America. My sister was born on the ride over. She was so beautiful. We got in line, I walked around looking at this huge buliding thinking it was the most beautiful thing ever. Are family split up and i stayed with my father. They checked me for dieases same as my father. We were now American cittzens.
  • My Father die's

    After 6 years in America life was still terrible. My father made little money and he still spent most of it on booze. My parents sent me to school to learn english. The mail man came to are door and handed my mother a letter to find out that in one of the irish riots my father was shot 7 times. I wounder why was he shot 7 time not by irish workers, No so i knew somthing was up.
  • The Mafia

    Im 19 now and we are out of money. My mother works in a cotten factory. She comes home every night in terrible condictions every night. I finally make a choice and join the mafia. I did unspeakable things. But hey this is the American dream right. One day me and Boss tweed are talking and i find out Boss tweed killed my father. I shot boss tweed in the sholder but the cops were there already and i went to jail.
  • WWI

    1917 WW I, After 47 years in jail with no sight of geting out I can thank Boss Tweed for that. WW I begins and i am forced to join the army at the age of 66. I am still in good shape and i have nothing else better to do. I find out my mother died in 1880 and my sister is in trouble with money. But hey this is the American dream right.
