On one of the most tragic days ,my grandma had passed away from heart failure just two years after having her last girl. After her death, my grandpa had quickly found a new wife which no one in the family likes, they didn’t even get invited to the wedding.Til this day no one likes her, she makes my grandpa miss his children’s graduation, wedding, he misses a lot of huge milestones in the family and tries to cover it up with money, it’s not gonna work but I will take the 20 tho

In February of 2003 my parents had found out that they were pregnant with their first child.

On June 8, 2003, my father had came to the United States before my mom to get a stable job, then buy a house, so that when my pregnant mom comes to America she wouldn’t have to worry about a thing but having the baby.
-
Some of my aunts had come to America, and since my dad was living in a hotel at the time he was unable to take them in, so they had to go living with my grandpa and his wife, where she had made their life a living hell. She would make them cook, clean, and do everything. She had perfect beds that they could sleep on but chose to make them sleep on the floor. All the food that she had made them cook she wouldn’t let them eat from it even if there was enough, most of the nights they ate crackers.

After my aunts had some way of contacting my mom and telling her what my grandpas wife was putting them through she decided to come to America. My had had been able to get a one room apartment, at the time no one was their to watch my uncles in Haiti so my mom had to bring them as well. My mom got my aunts out of that living hell hole, brought them to the apartment, and made it work. They built walls in the apartment so they could have more rooms, so 10 people in a one bedroom apartment in Ny.

I felt so bad for not doing anything for my 13th birthday because I had the chance to do something before quarantine but didn’t, and most people have to celebrate their birthdays indoors
