    The Greek City-states are spreading newly found Democracy throughout the Country. Democracy was a government of popular votes, is first placed and practiced in Greece, where Art and Science Thrive
  • The Persian Empire conquers Greece in 546 B.C.

    The Persians invade and conquer Greece. It was a very powerful empire, also very large, but only then did the Persians think they were all powerful

    The Greek City-states defeat Persia. Athens, the leader of this battle, was to protect Greece from any further Persian strikes.

    Fighting between Sparta and Athens rages. The war is called the Peloponnesian war. Athens fought hard, but they still lost to the powerful Spartans.

    King Phillip II takes over Greece after they are weakened by the battle. It then breaks the Democracy of Greece.

    Alexander the Great, son of King Phillip II, is asked by king Phillip, his father, to expand Greece. He defeats the Persians in less than 10 years, and he spreads Greek culture from Greece all the way to India.
