Ryann's Adolescent Years!

  • I discovered the game.

    I discovered the game.
When I was ten, I decided I wanted to play softball. I had never been interested in any sports before; I just thought it was something to pass my time. It only took one game for me to realize that the game meant so much more to me. It was my life. I finally felt like I fit in some where.
  • All-Star Winners!

    All-Star Winners!
On July 7th, 2011 I had finally won my first important game. After a very long battle of three games against Verde Valley (the best in three states!) we could now call ourselves champions. As young girls, this meant the world to us. Every extra long practice, all the extra innings played in the Arizona heat, every bloody knee, black eye and sunburn now worth it. That day I felt I had won something so much more. The Wickenburg Lady Wranglers became a family that day.
  • Move To Lake Havasu City

    Move To Lake Havasu City
The summer before my Freshman year of high school I decided I want to follow my very first boyfriend to Lake Havasu City. It was a very exciting journey, I met new people, started high school for the first time, and started living a whole new life.It was heaven on earth to my thirteen year old mind.
  • Love at First Sight?... So I thought.

Love at First Sight?... So I thought.
Half way through my Freshman year I met my second boyfriend. I fell head over heels! I was so in love he was all I could see. Eleven short months later he decided he was bored and he was gone. This seemed to be the worst it could ever get. I became involved in the "Havasu scene", something a fourteen year old definitely should not be a pat of. It was all down hill from there.
  • Change for the better?

    Change for the better?
Somewhere in my heartbroken stupor I met Jonathen, the father of my soon to be child. Being fifteen and very ignorant I wanted nothing to do with my soon to be child or his father. I was terrified of the thought of being a parent. Gladly, I decided to women up and take responsibility for my child. I moved away from my bad life and started new in my hometown.
  • Baby time!

    Baby time!
February 20th, 2014 at 4:37 pm my life finally had meaning. Sawyer Michael Andrew Harris was born. Before this moment, I had never known what it was like to love someone so much you'd give your life for them. This day changed my life for the better. I am so glad I chose to embrace motherhood.
  • Becoming Independent

    Becoming Independent
Jonathen and I had been together for 2 years at this point and baby Sawyer was almost one. We finally decided it was time to get a home to call our own. It was the cutest little two bedroom apartment I had ever seen. It was perfect. Moving out finally meant I was completely depended on myself and no one else. I knew I was ready. I had been waiting for this moment my whole life.
  • Baby Number two!

    Baby Number two!
Jonathen and I received the biggest blessing yet. After being told that having more children was not in the cards, we conceived Sawyer's baby sister. Kinleigh Ember Jo will forever be our miracle baby. Although we both are still young, being nineteen and twenty one, this is exactly the life we want. It's everything and more
  • After waiting 4 years...

    After waiting 4 years...
One night, out of the blue he just blurted it out. We had been talking about marriage for quite sometime now but it never seemed to be the right time. He had even bought a ring months ago. Randomly, without the ring, he says "will you marry me?", so softly that I barely heard it. I could hear the shyness in his voice. A shyness that hadn't been there since the first day I met him. At that moment, I knew his question was genuine and true. I said yes!
  • Going Back To School

    Going Back To School
I dropped out of high school the beginning of my Junior year and the previous years I pretty much did nothing. For the past few years, I've felt as if I was to far behind to catch up, I'm a mom so I can't go to school, I should just get my GED. This prolonged me going back to school and finishing one of my life goals. I want to finish high school. I want to get my diploma and that is what I plan to do!
