The battle of Crecy took place near Cresy in Northern France. It was one of the most important battles in the long war beacause of the new tecnologys in weaponry and the tactics/ stradegy.

After the Battle of Crecy the English needed fresh supplies and men. They decided to go to Calais but it was difficult and it resulted in a very long siege.
