  • Physical develpment Infancy

    I began walking at 12 months. At first I needed help by my mom, but when I improved my locomotion I was waling everywhere. I actually would flip out of my crate because I also stated to learn how to bonce.

    A good example in my life of Piaget concept would be when my mom would hide a toy from me and change the spot, and I would see where she would put it but I would check the first place then go to the correct spot.

    My temperament as a child was rather relaxed and would cry a lot unless I was unconfutable then I would continue to say "no" to everything.

    Most of my childhood I was securely attached to my care giver. My father left so I was dependent on my mom which built a strong relationship because it was just her and I.

    My family and teachers described me as very quiet but extremely respectful, Many teaches would tell me I have the best manners in the class . I was still nervous to talk to people but my temping was still the same.

    The best way that helped me with language would be from my teacher in kindergarten.she gave us a small sentence then had us read it aloud then the sentences became longer as the year went by.

    Many of my interests as a child would mimic my uncles interest because he was the one who would play as a mentor in my life. He was big into star wars which also made me invested into it.

    During this time I would always hate to leave a toy alone. Becaues I would fear that it would run away.

    I hit puberdy around nine I hit this stage earlier than my peeres but it didn't have an effct on me.

    At this time I wasn't engaged in many physical activities I mostly just did homework. Not a lot of gross motor skills were used but my fine motor skills improved by constant writing for school.

    The best example of Piagets theory at this time was when I was in high school and I decided to wear a suit. I thought everyone was looking at me but in reality they weren't its a for of egocentrism.

    At this time was I NJROTC in high school I was the commander of it. I gave me a purpose and I felt like I was a part of something bigger than myself.

    Sternberg would describe my relationships as being against his theory's for the fact that I was pushing people away to find myself.

    My gross motor skills have improved greatly I am now able to run further. As for my fine motor skills they have also improved as I am now learning how to play piano.

    As an adult I have engaged in a lot of physical activities, I was in ROTC, and track. Staying physically fit has helped live better.

    The most relevant to Piaget theory would be shown through me being able to take concepts that I leaned in math and would apply it to my math tutoring sessions.

    My closest relationship is to my fiancée, I would describe the attachment style as secure attachment we are both understating of another and listen to one another. We build another to make us stronger.

    Sternberg would describe my relationship as a committed relationship. we both promise each other to be there for each other till the end. To be loyal to one another and both work hard to support each other.
