On Saturday April 30, 2016 I went with my Mom to PetSmart in Yorktown. We would go to PetSmart once a month because our white German Shepherd was on a prescription diet and PetSmart was the only pet store that carried his special food. When we got to PetSmart there was a dog rescue group putting dogs up for adoption. We walked over to the dogs to take a look at them. Then we saw Dexter. My Mom filled out the paperwork and an hour later we were on our way home with a new member of the family.

My job was to assist the coaches with whatever was needed for the team. I went with the team to all the games, away and home. It was so much fun. The varsity team made me feel like I was part of the team.
