When British Immigrants moved to the Boer Republics in hope for the gold that others had found there, they were mistreated. Britain was trying to defend these immigrants, however the Boer were defensive and this led to the Boer War. This shows continuity as the British had many conflicts with the Boer prior to this. -
Egypt Overthrows Britain Rule
