My Bat Mitzvah was a very important moment in my life. It was the first time that I started studying Jewish texts in depth and realized how much I loved it. I made the decision to switch over to a Jewish Day School after my Bat Mitzvah in order to continue my studying

Cardin was the most amazing high school--I had wonderful friends (including my now fiance!) and teachers and loved what I was learning. In high school was also the first time that I started thinking about becomming a rabbi---my rabbi in high school was amazing and had a huge influence on me. I am excited that he will be officienting our wedding!

Morah Rosen has been an incredible teacher, role model and mentor. I first met her in high school, she was teaching my English class. What I loved about Morah Rosen was how much passion she had for her subject. As Palmer wrote about, it was that passion that made her a good teacher. I always felt engaged in her classroom and I always felt included. Her teaching was creative and pushed us to work hard. Morah Rosen was the type of teacher who you wanted to work hard for because you liked her.

I loved Muhlenberg College! I studied Jewish Studies and Religion and enjoyed being a member of Phi Sigma Sigma, Challah for Hunger, the Spanish Club and other organizations.

This was my first time teaching in a Jewish environment. I realized how much I loved it and how I wanted to pursue a career in it.

I spent 7 months living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I loved being able to travel and work on my spanish! I especially enjoyed learning about the different Jewish communities in Argentina and getting to be a part of them.

In the year in between college and starting rabbinical school I had the opportunity to work at two day schools--my alma matter Cardin and The Day School at BHC. This is what I realized how much I loved teaching and being in a school setting
