  • 7.2 Childhood Attachment Experiences

    In that date, I was 7 years old. I always was/is very independent. I dont like to having people to help me and I always liked to learn on my own. For example, my daddy and I went to fishing and we loved to go fishing together. I used to hate when dad putting worm on the hook and I always wanting to do it by myself. My dad worried if i could hurt myself with the hook. Fianlly he gave up and let me do it by myself when I was 7 years old. I was very proud of myself.

    This date is when I was 11 years old and my parents were seperating and divorce. My brother was 4 years old. My parents are in bad term and still today. I had to take care of my brother, because my parents dont have for us. They always taking out on me. This is my major life event and it was hard to deal with it and still today. At first I was denial, self-blame, substance use then planning and acceptance. And today Im acceptance and use of emotional support.

    This date, 2/15/2011 is the day I became 21 years old. I didnt think that I am "officially" adult, because all I was thinking about that I am legally adult so I can go in bar. I though I felt that I am adult. However, recently during the summer time; I got internship, my own place & control with my budget. I woke up early daily weekdays to go work (internship) and I learned lot. I felt more responsibility with my budget, job, life, etc--just because of internship. This is "social" effect to me.

    My life is depending on antioxidant pills, because Im afraid of aging might ruin my looks. Im 21 years old now and I will always take antioxidants to death!

    4.1: My current Healthy lifestyle
    My lifestyle is healthy but compare with my high school lifestyle and college lifestyle are huge different, because when I was in high school and I was very involed with athletic however I didnt involed any athletic in college years therefore, my health lifestyle is changed. I have gained weight and my body is change to adult body. Yet, my body is still healthy even though I didnt join any athletic in college. I do exercise 2 times a week and eat healthy daily.

    In that table 6.1 in text book. I think Im dismissing attachment style. Dismissing is independent person and not relyable to other people. For example, Im like to being on my own and I dislike when people to tell me to do.

    This date is when I am expected to graduated. I m considering this is young adult transition, because Im expected to graduated on that day. My challenges to get over with all coursed that are required and fianical situation. I always have issues with fiancial situation. It is transition from present, because I am in process to get degree in a year. My age is perfectly timing to graduate, because people and companies are looking for young people with college degrees.

    My RIASEC type is Social. It is create activities that assist others and promote learning and personal development. And prefer to communicate than hand work with objects. Alos, they like to teach, to give advice, to help, or give service to people. I think it is suit me very well, because I love to be around people and help them. I was told many time that Im a good listener and very creative with things. I dont mind to work as rehab conuselor, mental health counselor or theaprist.

    This date is when Im expected get marry. I think that year is perfect year to get marry and have my life to settle down along I have a job, a place and maybe even have kids. The challenges might would be fiancial situation due how many kids I have, my husband's job is a good job with great insurance benefits. I will facing these vary challenges in the future however I m able to handle it. Older Adult Role is able tranistion from present, because of my college degrees to sovle finanical issues.

    This date is when I'm 45 years old. Im working as mental health counselor for 10 years. I love the job but I felt I am "outdated" with my knowledge. So, I always attending workshops, researching and meetings about new things, because Im into new things and I want to help people in many different ways- old and new. "Maintenance"- Super's Stage- hold achieved job, update and innovate taks and perehaps reeveluate and re new.

    I am 50 years old but fablous! I have lifestyle risks, because I have strong genetic of Cancer. Im afraid they might short my life so Im going to be stay healthy with eating right( fruits and vegetables) and exercise daily. Stop taking antioxidant pills since it s possbile to develops cancer. Dont smoke or stay away from smokers. Be in healthy enivorment. Make sure my house is safe and healthy. I will use sunblock to protect from skin cancer at everytime Im going out.

    3.2 Genetric Limits: The Cause of My Addiction with Antioxidant Pills
    I am 65 years old now and Im looking so fabulous but my health is going to downhill. Since I always took antioxidant pills because I took vitamin pills since I was 21 years old. However, I have to visit doctor and my doctor told me to not take them anymore and I have to start to eating fruits and vegetables. However, they still can help my looks to looking healthy.

    Since I knew that my wokring memory is suck, here is my strategy to stay alive. I will contiune to be activity person but not over do. One or 2 times a week- walking around but less than a mile. Contiune to eat healthy foods. Rest lot but go outside lot duing warm time so I can get good engery from sun and warm feelings too. I hope all these things will keep me alive.

    Im 70 years old now. My body getting weak but I still love to involes activity with my family. Unfortunately, my working memory does affect my Activites of Daily Livings (ADL), because I used to take pills when I was young and it affect to my body and my brian. Now, ADL affects my lifestyle and the best to for me to contuine to be activity with my family and myself, because I want to be part with my family and I love to be activity. I want to show my family that Im strong.
