This is obviously one of the most life changing events in my life because it is the beginning of my life. I was born into a loving family of four. I had two half siblings from my dad. One sister and one brother, who were both older than me. Growing up it was always hectic because we were wild children. -

Manuel was born
On this specific day, my baby brother was born. At first, I was not so jubilant. However, I realized that I was no longer the baby and I had someone I can teach and grow up with again. -
My house got robbed.
This was one of the craziest experiences in my life. My house was robbed and the people took almost everything. It changed my whole perspective on feeling safe at home. I always felt like it was going to happen again, therefore I was paranoid. -
Esther's death
This event was a low point in my life. It effected everyone in my family. My grandma, Esther, was the person that brought us all together. It really impacted me largely. I was very close to my grandmother, we saw each other everyday. Afterwards, I found it hard to cope and was depressed. -
I became an uncle
My sister gave birth to my beautiful niece named Aubrey. I was now an uncle at 13 years old and I was so estatic. My niece was a great addition to the family and brought us joy. -
A moment of realization
Have you ever cared about what people thought of you? I used to until this day. In the 7th grade, I realized that I did not care what people thought about me. I decided to do my own thing and not care what people thought. I realized I just need to make me happy and do whatever I want. No matter what you do, you will never please anyone so it is best to please yourself. -
My first concert
This event was a monumental and impacting moment in my life. To add, it was life changing. It made me realize how much I love music and concerts. Since then I have attended all the concerts I can. I have attended a total of six so far, however I will be attending more including one next month, -
A new addition
This day my sister gave birth again to another beautiful daughter. In addition, this was my second niece. It was Easter morning when my sister went into labor. It was an amazing Easter and one I will never forget. -
First job
Getting a job has always been something I was waiting to do when I turned sixteen. The idea of making my own money and spending it on what I want excited me. This taught me a lot about responsibility. It also taught me about the real world. Everything in life costs money, so you have to work for it. -
Setting goals for myself
In December, I realized turning 18 was coming soon and I had important decisions to make. These upcoming decisions would change my life. Therefore, I set goals for myself. I want to attend college and travel the world. Therefore, I will do whatever it takes to complete them. -
First step in accomplishing my goals
This day I took some important tests to determine if I was eligible to take community college classes while in high school. I took the first step to completing my goals. I applied for a scholarship and I am currently waiting the status. If accepted, I will attend community college during the next two years of high school.
