  • Begining of Assessment.

    We got into our groups and set up our blog, includinh the blog hub and uploading the important dates we had to have tasks completed by.

  • 5 Minute Analysis

    I completed my 5 minute analysis of Taxi Driver.

  • Film Noir Timeline

    We completed our timeline and uploaded it to our blog.

  • 9 Frame Analysis

    I finally finished the 9 frame analysis of the film Momento and uploaded it to my blog.

  • Opening Sequence

    Created the opening sequence timeline

  • Institution Research

    I done some research on the Noir film genre from two sites, boxofficemojo.com and the-numbers.com . i found a wide range of information that i have included to my research of the first question which was simply 'Look at the numbers and box office mojo'

  • Institution Research

    Finally finished the 2 questions i was given to research and complete. After finishing off the first question yesterday i managed to complete the second question today and update my blog.

  • Storyboard

    As a group, we sat down and decided together how to set out or storyboard. This took up the full 1 hour lessons, next lesson it will be copied and uploaded to our blogs.

  • Blog Update

    Because everyone was given seperate tasks, it was hard to collect it all together to upload straight away, however now we have managed to collect all the tasks together and upload them in this lesson to keep us up to date.
    As an extra, i also uploaded links to the blogs of the other members in my group so I can check up on any updates by them easily and so we are all ewasier to access each others blogs.

  • Sending and Sorting

    I sent the rest of my group any pieces of research which they didnt have and sorted out the dates of when my uploads were published to make sure they are all in order.

  • Extra Help

    To help make the making of our film easier, i looked up various techniques used when making Noir films. I managed to find some lighting techniques used throughout the making of Noir films to help build the effect of the movie genre.
    I included a 4 minute video of a film noir film school to help out with ideas of filming.
    My final post i included for extra help is a website called 'Film Noir Foundation' which has pages of articles to do with noir films.

  • Group Photo

    Group Photo
    Aft er weeks of planning, we finally decided to take our group photo. We took several images and chose our most successful and uploaded it to our blog.

  • Filming

    From 5pm till 8:30pm we met up down the sea fron to film our piece, each scene took several attempts to become successful. Luckilly taking several shots of the same scene meant we could mix them together to get our final piece for each section.

  • Rough Cut

    We started to put our rough cut together so it could be put on youtube and so there was some form of evidence of our film making.

  • Upades

    We begun to complete any witheld tasks that werent complete before our filming such as the soundtrack, animatic, and the black and white effects in the film to give it the film Noir effect.

  • Construction

    We sorted out the construction documents and made sure that they were uploaded to each others profiles so everyone has a copy of everyones work

  • Animatic

    I started to create the animatic for our group and shall continue to finish it in Mondays lesson

    I finished the animatic and uploaded it to my blog, all that is left now is to upload the soundtrack and the final product then get to work on the evaluation.

  • Evaluation

    Whilst the group continued to finish off the odd pieces, i looked at the evaluation questions and came up with plans and ideas on who will answer certain questions, how they will be presented and what will be included in the answers.

  • Evaluation

    I created the powerpoint for the questions 1-5 and game each member of the group a question for answer, i then answered my questions and will continue updating the powerpoint when everyone finishes their questions. the final 2 questions will be answered via video. We decided to do the last 2 questions as a video to help boost our marks and help enhance our chances of getting a higher grade.

  • Evaluation Q.1

    I completed question 1 for our Evaluation and added the prelim we created back in September to my blog.

  • Evaluation Deadline

    Due to two of the group not being ill, we have told them to finish off their evaluation questions then send it to me so i can put it into the powerpoint for the first 5 questions. 2 video questions will be recorded next lesson.

  • Evaluation Draft

    we typed up the draft answer to the final questions of which we are going to video so we have a rough idea of what eeds to be included in our speech. once these questions have been completed, we will then upload the first 5 questions on powerpoint and the final questions that are videoed to our wix site to make everything easy and accessible with it all in one place.

  • Evaluation Questions

    We completed the first 5 evaluation questions for the powerpoint and uploaded them to our blogs. We are going to film the answers for the last questions on Wednesday when we have plenty of time. Laura is currently working of the Wiixx to add to our final evaluation.

  • Q5 & Q6 Draft

    Because Matty wasn't in we couldnt record our final questions, so instead we decided to make it easier for those answering the final questions we typed up a draft of both answers so they had a better idea of what they have to incude when discussing the last questions. We will do the recording of our questions in tomorrows lesson

  • Q6 & 7 Evaluation.

    We finally managed to do the recording of our final evaluation questions. These will then be edited and added to our final evaluation by the end of tomorrows lesson.

  • Message to the Moderator

    Finally, the deadline has came for our final piece to be completed, the only thing that needed to be added to our blog was the Wix, question 6 & 7 evaluation and the message to the moderator for them to find it easier to access around our blog. I published the Wix to our blog which has all the evaluation questions on and wrote a small message for the moderator to view on the front page of our blog so they can find things easy to access.

  • Final Cut

    I uploaded the final cut onto my construction page and checked that all my posts were in the correct categories
