    When I was 4

    This is sort of random but my earliest memory that I can recall today is when I was 4 years old waking up in my bed at my first home. This is important because when I was 4 it was one of the best times of my life.

    Being a caring person

    The timespan is from the birth of my first cousin who was from one of my parents siblings.By that I mean not my second cousins. I am the second oldest of my generation in my family so I have 10 younger first cousins. I have made myself kinder and caring person as I talk to and play with my younger cousins. I have also become more patient as the years have gone on as well. Big part of my personality and my life.

    Spiderman Birthday!

    From the years of about 4-6 I had Spider-man themed birthdays. This is extremely important to me because Spider-man is still my favorite superhero till this day and is one of the parts of my personality and what I enjoy.
  • Moving Homes

    Moving Homes

    The first and only time I've ever moved homes. This was about a month or two into kindergarten. It is a huge part of my life as it was a move that transferred me to an area where I went to a new school and made some of my best friends. Also it put me into the area of Taft High school. This move is the reason why I was able to attend Taft and IBDP program here at Taft. I met more friends here and I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't have the friends that I met here.

    Going to India for the first time

    I was about 4 years old when I went to the India for the first time. Going to India helped who I am today. I am Indian on both sides of my parents and they are from the same city. I went to this city when I was younger and it was fun. We went to India for my Uncles Wedding but, during the days where we weren't going to events I would run around and have fun. It helps define who I am today because this was the place where my people are from. This is a part of who I am.

    The transition into grade school is an important milestone in my life. Other than pre-school graduation this was one of the first major graduation or moves onto the next step of life. Although I did go to a k-8th school and I was with the same people it was still important as it was a time to start learning more and evolve as a student.

    Getting my Glasses for the first time

    In second grade I got my glasses for the first time. I was known for sitting really close to the board when the teacher was thinking because the board was really blurry for more. I was told by my teacher than I should just get glasses. I told my parents and then I got glasses! It is a part of who I am today. It helps me see!

    When I turned 10 I started to realize that life was moving fast. I really started to realize that I needed to advocate for myself and I needed to grow up and become mature. This is a huge part of my attributes.
  • Basketball

    Basketball

    When I was 11 years old I started to play basketball. I finally started to play sports more seriously and I started to lose weight and get more in shape. I was getting healthier and I was playing basketball almost everyday for a couple of years after that. This is a huge part of who I am. Basketball has been my favorite sport and will probably continue to be my favorite sport as it helped me become fit and changed who I was as a person dramatically.

    Sleeping in my room

    Started to sleep in my own room. I was 11 years old at the time. A bit late to start sleeping in my own room but I was known for being scared of the dark. Not anymore but back then I used to trick my brain into seeing weird figures in the distance. I was scared but I finally moved into my own room. This helped me grow up as a person and its a part of my identity.

    I was about 11 years old when I had my first phone. This is a big part of my life because I am a huge tech person. I am obsessed with technology as a whole and the innovation in the world. I love researching and playing with technology and having my first phone allowed me to have the information of the world in the palm of my hand. Also allowed me to contact my family and friends and take pictures and videos as well. This event helps define who I am because of my obsession with tech.
  • Cabin Trip with the whole family

    Cabin Trip with the whole family

    Summer of 2015 my entire family and I went on a cabin trip. By entire family I mean my family extending to second cousins which is around 50 people. We have gone on multiple cabin trips before but this one stands out the most to me right now as this was one of the trips where I had the most fun. A cabin that can only allow about 25 people had 50 people staying in it. It was tons of fun. I really value my family and I want to keep this mindset for the rest of my life.

    Building my First Computer

    I built my first desktop computer in 2015. My dad had built computers prior to this but this was the first time I built my own. The first computer I had ever used in my life was a desktop my dad built. I still remember this computer to this day as it was the beginning of my love for technology. This computer that I had built was for gaming. I had chosen the parts and built it with the help of my Dad. It wasn't just any computer to me. It was a computer that I built and I loved it.

    Springfield Trip 7th Grade

    In 7th grade I went on a trip to Springfield. This was an important event in my life as it is a the capital of the state. It is an important place in the history of the U.S. as it was the place where Abraham Lincoln lived for a part of his life. I saw his house and I saw other places like the capital building. This was a fun trip and me and my friends really enjoyed the trip and it is a memory that I will keep for a long time.
  • 8th Grade Graduation

    8th Grade Graduation

    Life hit me hard then. It was really fun to graduate and move on in life but I realized that I was really growing up. I went to the same school from kindergarten to 8th grade so, I knew the same people for pretty much 9 years. Now I had to move on and make new friends and try to keep some of the older ones. Big step in life.

    Starting Highschool was a huge step in life. I had to make new friends and I started to take AP classes and honors classes so it was a huge step up from middle school. Big transition into a new part of life.
  • Started to Lose Weight

    I was overweight when I was younger and I started to realize that I needed to lose weight and become healthier for myself and my family. I huge part of who I am today as I will always be effected my the events that pushed me to start working out and eating right.
  • Niagara Falls

    Niagara Falls

    I visited Canada during the summer break of 2019. This was a fun trip and it was the first time I went to the falls. It was fun and we visited other places around that area in Canada. My family and parts of my extended family came and it was a really fun trip and will be a memory I will remember and cherish.

    I am almost a legal adult. This reality really hit me yet, at the same time I still feel like a little kid. I don't feel my age as its only been 2 months since.I expect it to hit me eventually but this is my most recent birthday and I am almost a legal adult.
