Phases of the Moon

I am always there even if you can't see me. I am watching over you at night, showing the dark side of me.

7 BCE

There are two types of this phase. However, I am a growing fingernail.

6 BCE

You see half of my light and dark sides. The light will later overcome the dark.

5 BCE

I'm so close to showing my full potential. Give me a few more days for me to fully light up the night.

4 BCE

Now you see my entire face given by my craters. The first half of the moon phases has now been complete.

3 BCE

The darkness begins to grow. However, my light still shines as bright, but not to my full potential.

2 BCE

The darkness continues to grow and have met at halfway with the light. It's time for the darkness to take over.

I am the other phase that looks like a fingernail. But think of it as a fingernail about to be clipped off. After my phase, it's back to the very beginning. I will then start at complete darkness.
