I was born on August 6th, 2005 at Hershey Medical Center. I don't remember much, because I was just born, but from another point of view; my sister said she wished on a star for a sister, and when she got me she was beyond excited!

I don't remember the exact date, because I was only 5 years old. Riana and I met at the bus stop in our neighborhood when we both went to pick up our sisters with our moms. She brought her dolls, and I brought my crayons, and we walked up to each other and decided to give the dolls a makeover with my crayons! We have been friends ever since, 10 years!

I was young, but I remember having no power for a couple of days, and being stuck at home. I remember the constant rain and the overflowing of the river near my house. I also remember how the middle schoolers, like my sister came home super late because the buses couldn't drop off the kids.

I had gone to India before, but I was only a baby, so I clearly didn't do much. I went again in 3rd grade, I was only there for 2 weeks, and I still don't remember that much but I know it was definitely a fun trip.

I remember my brother and I were so excited to see it! I don't even know if it could be seen from where we lived, but we had bought glasses and snacks to stay up to see it! We fell asleep though! I have always been fascinated by space, so hearing about this made me so excited!

Highschool! It was the first day, I was so nervous, not for school itself but for all the new people, and all the different grades together all the time. It was a good day though, I enjoyed it and made friends!

This year was not the most fun, mainly because of this pandemic. I had just came back from India in February and I remember hearing about the virus in the Middle East when I was there, and I didn't think much of it, but here we are! In quarantine, I learned to enjoy the little things, since I couldn't go out as much!

It was so inspiring to see all the protesting that happened in 2020, and I am glad to say I was apart of it! Though my parents told me I can't go to protest because of Covid, we did drive by a small protest once, and I have followed the online protests!

I had done gymnastics my entire life, and I never really stuck with any of the other activities I did expect this one. It made me feel powerful with every flip and turn! Quitting was a very hard decision, but I could feel myself outgrowing it, and I didn't really plan on doing it in college, even though that could have been very cool! It was a hard choice, but looking on it now, it was the correct one! Here is the picture from my last meet!

So cool! I think it is so empowering to see the first and hopefully not the last female vice president! I think it is so good for young girls to see that they can do it, and they should work for their goals! To me, being Indian and a girl, see a the very first VP as half Indian, and a female is so inspiring! Maybe one day we will have the first female president!
