It was 2:49 PM during the annual Boston Marathon which took place on April 15, 2013, two bombs went off near the finish line, which was located near Copley Square. The bombs were homemade pressure cookers, and within moments three people were dead, and 264 were injured. Sixteen people lost their limbs as a result. This day was my first lacrosse game ever and I spent the whole day with my friends having fun getting ready and excited for our game. We played against CD and it was a tied game and I was on attack for the last 30 seconds of the game and was running down the field to score the winning goal and then I went to jump to get the ball, got bumped and landed wrong and was screaming in pain. Had to get lifted off the field eventually found out I tore my ACL. Was a sad and unfortunate day

This day was a very big day for me and exciting because I had gone through tearing my acl and being out for a year to then achieve this. This event made me feel happy and successful. -
This day was very exciting and we deserved to win by the way we performed. The whole team worked together hard to win and we got to celebrate our win afterwards and it was an awesome time. This event made me feel happy to be apart of something so big. -

This was a sad day for me because all of my best friends and boyfriend were leaving and going on with their lives at college. This event made me feel sad but happy and proud for them.
