It was a very important day. My dad and I share a birthday.

I was very young when I got the chicken pox because my baby sitter and my mom were really good friends. Pretty much all the kids there got the chicken pox at the same time to get it over with.

This tragedy happened when I was very young so I don't remember much about it from that time. Over the years of hearing and learning about it I have come to the realization that this was a horrible attack and took many many lives.

I remember being nervous for my very first day of school. I had a lot of good times on the playground and made some life long friends. I loved my teacher and I actually liked going to school.

I don't remember much about my 5th birthday but I do recall having a little party. My friends and I had a sleepover and had a lot of fun. It was a much simpler time where anything I did was a good time.

This natural disaster caused a lot of damage throughout the U.S. I don't really remember any of this happening but I know it impacted our country tremendously.

The Great Recession was horrible for the people of America. It caused many people to go unemployed and the economy was failing. I know that this affected my parents big time.

This election was a big step for our country. He became the first African American president and strived to make our country better.

This birthday was important because I was finally in double digits. I’m pretty sure I had a spongebob themed birthday party for this year.

This event was a tragedy and affected everyone greatly. I remember going to Gulf Shores right before it had happened and it was sad. Gas prices also skyrocketed.

I decided to try going on my youth group's mission trip. It impacted my life by getting more involved in my faith and making new friends from all around the country.

When I finally became a teenager I was so excited. I felt like I was able to do more things with my friends and go out more.

When my brother came home with Emma I was extremely happy. We had just lost our other dog and I was glad that I had a furry friend in the house again. She is my best friend now.

This was a big step in my life because it was so much different than middle school. I remember being terrified to be a freshman in high school.

The legalization of same sex marriage impacted the United States. It caused happiness to some and conflict with others.

This birthday was extra special because it was my sweet 16 and my dad's 50th birthday. I was excited because I knew I was going to be able to drive soon.

This is a special day in the church because you are considered an adult to the parish. My aunt was my sponsor and it was a fun experience.

My first job was at The Waters of Huntingburg. I currently still work there and it teaches me responsibility and the importance of having a job. It has prepared me for what is coming for me in the real world after high school.

I love Beyonce and her music. Going to this concert made me extremely happy even though it broke my bank.

I got accepted into ISU which is where I will be attending college. College is the next step in my life before I have to go into the real world.

This election was extremely controversial because a lot of people had different opinions on Trump. I believe it caused a lot of fighting throughout the American people. I don't really follow politics like I probably should so I don't know much about it.

I traveled to Europe for a week and a half with the school. It was a great experience and I got to see a lot of different cultures.

My 18th birthday was a big one because I had now turned into an "adult". It forces me to take responsibility for my being and make more adult decisions.

Our football team won class 2A football state. I was able to be a part of this because I was the manager. This game was so intense and had me on my toes the entire time. I'm glad I was able to be along the journey with them.

I had an amazing time being apart of this. I felt honored that I was chosen to be one of the candidates.
