Personal Timeline

  • I was born.

    I was born.
    I was born in Bakersfield, California. I've been told that I was a beautiful baby, from the second I was born. I was born to a huge, crazy, and the most caring family.
  • I went to Guanajuato for the first time.

    I went to Guanajuato for the first time.
    When I was about two months I went Guanajuato, Mexico for the first time. I don't have any recollection of this trip, however I have a few pictures. I met all my family that still lives in Mexico, and I also got the opportunity to meet my great-grandparents. I've gone back a few times. I love getting to know where my parents are from, and spending time with my family that still lives there.
  • I started school.

    I started school.
    I started kindergarten when I was four years old, at Old River Elementary School. I started school pretty young, and struggled with reading a bit. I am so thankful to have such a caring mom that helped me learn, and now I thinking I excel in school.
  • I became a big sister.

    I became a big sister.
    I was seven years old when my sister was born, and I got pretty jealous when she was born. My sister annoys me sometimes, but I love her so much. She is is the smartest, funniest, and most lovable little girl I know. She is a pretty cool kid, as you can tell from the picture provided.
  • I went to Cancun.

    I went to Cancun.
    I went to Cancun in eighth grade. It was fun, I stayed in a resort with amazing food, took pictures with monkeys, and went swimming with dolphins. I spent Thanksgiving there, my family and I went to the Frida Kahlo Restaurant. It is definitely a trip I will never forget.
  • I graduated junior high.

    I graduated junior high.
    I graduated from Stonecreek Junior High School. It was a good school, and I had a lot of fun there. After graduation I went to go eat with my whole family!
  • I started high school.

    I started high school.
    I was so nervous when I started school at Ridgeview High School. I wanted to become as involved as possible, and have a lot of fun. I took all GATE classes, got involved in clubs, swim, and ASB. I went to all the football games, and made the best of my freshman year.
  • I competed at my first swim meet.

    I competed at my first swim meet.
    I was so anexious to compete at my first swim meet against Mira Monte. I swam a 4x50 m. medley backstroke relay, a 100 m. backstroke, and 4x50 m. free relay, and won all of them. It was one of the most nerve wracking moments in my life, and to this day I still get so nervous during each meet.
  • I won Sophomore Class President.

    I won Sophomore Class President.
    I love feeling like i'm making a difference, and that's why I love ASB so much. I was Freshman Class Secretary & Vice President, so I decided to run for Sophomore Class President. I campaigned as much as possible, and was anticipating the results. The day they announced the election results I was at a swim competition in Tehachapi. I had just finished swimming, when I got a text from my brother that said "You won cuz". I'm so stoked to get the opportunity to be Sophomore Class President.
  • I had a quinceanera.

    I had a quinceanera.
    Technically this hasn't happened yet, but I know this is going to be a life changing event. I've been anticipating my quinceanera for as long as I could remember. I am so excited, yet nervous!
