    "Its a miricle"
On this day, after a week of pain, I had survived a near death expirience. The moment I was born, I had an amniotic fluid in my lungs. I had breathing problems, and I was close to death. After fighting for a week, I had survived.

    Opening day
My first Cubs game ever. This day was special to me because I got to see my favorite team play. I espesaily loved to see my favorite baseball player play. Sammy Sosa. To top it all off, I even got to shake hands with him. This was the first time I felt starstruck.

    America's national past time.
This is the day i fell in love with baseball. I grew up in the suburbs for half of my life and all that was played was baseball. Since baseball was big in the family, the tradition was passed to me.
  • My little brother.

This was the day I had got my first baby brother. I had an older sister all ready, but I barely got to see her (since we're only half siblings). So, after feeling like an only child for awhile, I was excited.
  • Time for a taste of Chicago

Time of year that almost everyone in Chicago waits for. The taste of Chicago. I don't remember a whole lot from that day, but what i remember is, that this is the day I feel in love with music (all tough I didn't know it at the time).

    "Bartman!!!"

Alou goes up for it, interfered by Steve Bartman. later in the at bat, groundball to the shortstop and he dropped it. I was very upset that day, but later i learned to forgive and forget one's faults. It helped changed me that day.

All though I had two other guitars at home, I did not have one I could not call my own. Today was going to change. I got a Red washburn electric guitar. In the car, I was super excited to get home and to play it. After playing it for twenty minutes, I poped a string. Still, I couold not have been happier.
  • Sad day for the family

My great-grandma had past on this day. I rememer the tears in my eyes and the greif I had felt. I was close to her. I used to talk to her about anything and she wouldn't judge me. I felt that nothing wrong could ever happen to me when I was around her.
  • Turn around

This was the day I had gotten my act together. I struggled a lot accademicly, mainly because I didn't care. My report card came home, and the grades are not good. Eventually, an older lady came by and talked to me to calm me down. Then she told me, "If they upset or hurt you, they are not worth being in your life." Then she left. I realized she was right , and it helped me turn everything around.

    Joining youth group.
This was the day I joined the youth group at North side Gospel center. It was a day that made me feel better about my religion. I felt kind of odd about it at first because i don't find kids my age with the same faith as me, but I felt like I belonged.
