    In kindergarten, I had a great time painting, coloring, and the monkey bars. Although, one time I had to go to timeout for accidentally kicking someone in the face going down the slide.

    I was 8 years old when I was under the supervision of my older cousin and we had gone to her friend's house. Her friend had a pool and I had wanted to grab the beach ball in the pool. Trying to grab the beach ball I was not paying attention how close I was to the edge and I accidentally front flipped into the pool and fell under the surface. I remember my cousin and her friend grabbing me from the water and me coughing up water.

    The first time I was taught how to ride a bike was when I went camping with my family at Lake Lopez. My cousin had me get on a bike and he pushed me down a hill and I caught the pedals, grabbed the brakes and hit a tree. Immediately after doing that I caused the bike to crash into a tree. I was eager to try again.

    I was on the same camping trip, I was at the top of the cliff on the water and my cousin was at the bottom. I picked up a rock and tossed it over and it smacked my cousin on the side of the head.

    In 5th grade I went to Catalina Island. The trip changed my outlook on nature and outdoor activities like hiking, scuba diving, and open water kayaking.

    When I was in 6th grade, my friend skating and I was on a bike and he fell off when we were bombing a hill and he cracked his head open and rolled into the gutter. I sat there applying pressure until my parents came to take him to the hospital.

    Starting the second half of 7th grade, I became very uninterested in school and began to have an attitude that didn't care about anything. I was spending days in the counselor or deans office because all of my teachers showed no care or interest in my learning. That same attitude from teachers and me carried on into 8th grade year resulting in me not culminating from 8th grade.

    I've reached a point to where I feel like something needs to change within myself. I've carried this black cloud around for too long and It's not fun anymore. My family has made the choice to move back to Ventura County. It is now time to choose a High School for myself and I don't know where to go. I choose ACE Charter High School

    I've made the relocation to Oxnard, I've received the letter from ACE saying I will be attending the following Fall Semester.

  • Career Pathway

    I have chosen Architectural Drafting as my career pathway at ACE but I have decided to make this more of a hobby. My main career that I plan on thriving in is Sign Language Interpretation. I plan to go to Gaulladet University and pursue being a Sign Language Interpreter for the CIA with the additional skills in Architectural Drafting.
