  • peaceful baby

    peaceful baby

When my parents had m older siblings they were told to be hectic babies. As a newborn as was the only exception. Of course I cried out of the womb. After that however, I was a wonderful kid, very quiet and peaceful. I feel like this trait has stuck with me throughout my years and maybe even evolve.
  • athlete

Basketball has been something that has stuck with me ever since I was about 4 years old. This is when I actually decided to start playing in a league in order to improve my skills. I soon began to spend many days on the basketball courts with my friends and spent most of my free time on this activity. To this day being an athlete keeps me in shape and gives me cool hobbies I can partake in.
  • Open Minded

Someone smarter than me once said, "surround yourself with people smarter than you, heck even I do." This is a lesson I have took with em everywhere I go. Lets say there is a homeless man with big opinions but nobody is listening I might just go have a seat and see what he has to say because every point of view is worth hearing out, and honestly I feel the more perspectives one can withhold there more fair and just they will be, if only everyone learned to top and listen for awhile
  • People call me Crazy

    People call me Crazy

My dad has always been an elite skier so when he took me up to the hills I had a lot to live up to. Me and my father always have so much fun on the hill, but skiing didn't only teach me to have fun it also showed me how to be a risk taker. Sometimes you just have to believe in yourself even if yo know you may fail, and that's okay.
  • jr lifeguards

Jr Lifeguards is a summer camp program along the beaches of Chicago. My beach was at the very most northern point of the camps at Leon beach Rodgers Park. While this camp may seem extremely fun at first there is more too it. These camps could get any kid in shape in one summer and I spent 6 summers there, in a row. This camp made me take my health serious. When I was too old to go I had severely changed my daily routine since the beginning an I have even started to be healthy.
  • Early school

My parents had always enforced education in my house. My sister was always a good role model and influenced my and my brother greatly. In my belief this was the reason why they enrolled me at preschool at Norwood Park School. I met all sorts of new people.

  • Perseverer

While there were few strenuous times in my life I still know what it means to persevere. Many times in my life I have been injured quite badly. • Relfective

While winning a tournament gives one of the best feelings in the world losing one can be painful. While in the moment these memories feel like gods punishment, it was really a blessing. Because of the loss my and my teammates went in to detail why we had lost. This act really got me into reviewing myself and improving. While I was mad at the time I could not be happier the life lesson that The loss had taught me
  • Thinker

As I do not have to use this skill 24/7 it still comes in handy in many situations. Such as any argument. I am usually a very good mediator because I am able to asses situations and put together a logical and fair solution to just about any issue.
  • technological advancment

    technological advancment

Around the 7th grade my parents finally bought me a phone. I deem this as important because two years previous everyone in the family received phones except me. During the years going into high school I real became who I am today. I was able to connect with all sorts of new people and I really broke out of my shell those years.
  • Basketball Championship

While I have a few memorable victories I will speak of one in specific during a tie when I was transitioning from grade school to high school. On Jr. Eagles me and my team across the state and took straight dubs. When we won a tournament we all got medals and goofed around way too much it really seals a victory and engraves this memory in my brain forever.
  • Graduation

Grade school was so much fun for me. The school work was easy and I had school with all my closest friends. During these times was more about friends than learning for me and graduation really made me realize this. From that point on I have focused school work much more while balancing my social life.
  • Iquierer

  • First day of Hghschool

The first time in 4 year as had me my brother and my sister all been in the same school at the same time. This made my Freshman year unique to all others. While I had already made many new people going into Taft through sports and the academic center, the influx of people of all ages that I met through my older siblings isn't comparable. As my friendships grow throughout my years at Taft, I will never forget the jubilant times I had with my old friends.
  • Hot Rocks

My uncle and cousin have been going to a basketball/religious camp called Hot Rocks In Adrian Michigan. Going into Freshman year me and my brother were invited up and we had a blast. I hope for this class to be the class that puts me one step ahead of all the others as well as allow me to engulf myself in this booming career
  • Knowledgable

My whole life there has always been some global event whether it be positive or negative. While people see these events on the news they often know little about what is really gong on, why its happening, or how we can prevent this from happening in the future. In taking AP Human Geography I hope I can learn a range of new topics and soon make a difference.
  • Thinker

Lately in my entrepreneurship 1 class we have been working on creating a business. When creating a business a great way to look at it s where is a problem and where can I help solve this problem. While I have no business plan yet I have already started making the ethical decisions that go a long with creating a business.
