Trip to the Philippines
This trip was the first time I traveled out of America. I was 4 when me and my Dad went. My dads reason of going back to the Philippines was his mothers passing. We went to attend the funeral her funeral. When I met new cousins and family, I found out that I was friendly towards people I didn't know. -
Sister Born
I was the last child of my family, until my sister was born. To be honest I didn't know what to think of having another addition to the family. But, when I got to hold my sister, it was a good feeling. -
California
I traveled to California to visit my aunt, and discover different places, like Los Angeles. During this time, I felt adventurous. Going to Disney Land was an awesome time for me as a kid, and seeing characters from DIsney movies I saw was amazing. -
Moving
Considering that my family was getting bigger, with the addition of my little sister; my parents decided to buy a house. This occurred during the summer because my parents didn't want the move to get in the way of our schooling -
New York City
This is the time when I visited New York City. I visited New York with my brother and my Aunt. We went because we wanted to explore the city. We visited Central Park, Times Square, Wall Street, Empire State Building, just to name a few. -
Visiting Washington, D.C
When I was about 12 years old, me, my brother, and dad drove from Chicago to Washington D.C.. During this visit, I believe that I was an Inquirer. There was so much information to take in from this historic place, and I wanted to learn and investigate plenty. -
Getting Braces
When I was a child, I had a habit of sucking on my thumb. This habit led my teeth to become crooked in many regions. During the time had my braces, I endured. -

Summer Camp 2013
I attended the Chicago Park District Summer Camp. A characteristic that was apparent during my time in Summer Camp was being a Risk-Taker. I think I was a Risk-Taker because I didn't know anyone, so I decided to make friends with the other people in my group. -
Volunteering at a Nursing Home
One of my church member recommended me to volunteer at a nursing home, because she needed a lot of help helping the elderly. I decided to go, and I found out that I had a characteristic of caring. I cared for the elderly, like serving their food, and bringing their partially/finished plates. -
Elementary School Graduation
This event was when I graduated from Elementary school. I left behind great teachers that influenced me to excel in my academics. -
Robotics Class
I attended a class at Whitney Young that informed me on building and programming robots. During this event, I feel that I was Open-Minded. I was open-minded in this event because I listened to ideas and paths that other attendees wanted to do -
High school
My first day of High School was really hectic. I didn't know how the bell schedule work, so I was late for most of my periods. During this time, I was adaptive. Branson, Missouri
Branson is a destination to see some amazing shows. My family and I went to Branson to watch some great shows. We watched acrobatics, and I felt observant during that show. The way they moved and how flexible they were amazed me. -
Joining Band
Before I was a Freshman, I went to schedule my classes for that year. I didn't know what to expect in the Arts, so I decided to choose Band as a class. When I joined, I showed commitment towards my instrument (Trombone); practicing everyday, paying attention to my instructor, and participating in concerts. -
First time driving
Driving is a big part of ones life, and it's during high school that people start learning how to drive. At first, I was intimidated by driving, and overwhelmed by the work in Drivers Ed. But with my Focus, I aced the class, and have currently finished 3 traffics. Almost at my License -
Joining IBCP
Since Taft became a wall to wall IB school, I felt obligated to join one of the IB programs that Taft had to offer. I knew that IB classes were more rigorous, compared to Regulars and even Honors. Nonetheless, I still joined the program. I'm currently in the program and I realized that I became a Hard-worker for these classes that I enrolled in. -
Work
This was the time when I first worked and earned money. Technically, it wasn't a job. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it. Me and my team painted and fixed things. During this time I felt like being a leader, guiding my team a long. -
Joining High School Marching Band
From my first year of high school, I joined Beginning Band. I continued with it for 3 years, and decided to take the next step, which was Marching Band. At first, I couldn't get the steps to the March correctly, but I motivated myself to keep going at it, and ultimately, I got the hang of it.
