Happy Birthday to me!

I was born on a cold snowy day in February. I was a very small baby. I was 5lbs 4oz and St. Joseph's hospital was filled with my whole family.

Baptism

May 15, 2000

I was baptized under the Catholic church. My godparents is my parents cousins and many of my traits are passed down from them. Baptism is the day a baby becomes a Catholic.

Big Sister

At 3 1/2 years old I became a big sister to my baby brother Ethan. I was very excited to have someone else in the house. Now my brother is one of my best friends.

First day of school

My first day of pre-school was a very emotional day for my parents. As a kid I was very excited to be able to play with other kids my age.

Moving into our first apartment

I was about to start 2nd grade at a new school. I was going to Portage Park Elementary and we moved to an apartment 1 block away.

Starting a new school

For kindergarten and 1st grade i went to Prussing, but we moved and I attended Portage Park. I was nervous because I was so young and didnt know anybody.

Getting my first dog

When I was about 8 or 9, my dad surprised me with my first dog. Her name was Lady and she was German Shepard/Rottweiler. My dad rescued her during work from a garbage bag in a dumpster.

Graduating 8th grade

I graduated from Portage Park Elementary with all my friends since 2nd grade and new ones too. I graduated with one of my cousins also. I was very happy to leave but scared and sad to go to high school.

Starting high school

Starting Taft high school was nervous, yet exciting because I was starting a new school without knowing anybody but I was moving up a step in life.

Getting a car

I was so excited about getting my first car because I am finally becoming more independent. At my young age having a car is very exciting. I have a 1994 Toyota Camry.

Every since I was a child, I've had a bright colorful creative mind. I was always creating things like art, music etc.

Every kid is curious, some more than others. I was the more curious kid and I still am very curious. I am curious on the way things works out and how things are made.

I was raised to be open minded. My family always told me to accept and love others if that is how you want others to treat you. I followed that saying and I will continue to live by.

I am both street smart and school smart. I balance them both out well in my life. Being both street and school smart is a blessing because I am better educated on many things.

Ever since I was young, i had a wiser thinking mind. I have always been told I am very mature for my age. I take responsibility for things and make sure I am on top.

I am responsible for myself and others. I like to take care of others and myself. Being responsible ties in with being mature which is another trait I have.
