SInce I was born premature I had difficulty as a baby. My mother walked into my room while I was sleeping realizing I wasn't breathing. They rushed me to the hospital no knowing if I would make it. I ended up fighting through and making it! -

I have a older sister, so I am the middle child. I remember the day my brother was born like it was yesterday. I was so excited about my brother being born I skipped around the hospital lobby say, "Matthew has been born!" -

Held Back in 3rd grade Professional
I out this event in the perfessional category because from this event I can relate it to my future students. Even though this was a hard time in my life getting held back and at the age where you are aware what was going on was hard. I am now thankful that it I was held back and now can use this experience to relate and talk with future students. -
Job Shadowed Professional
Job shaowed my senior year of high school and this is when I realized I wanted to become a teacher. I had two placements. One of these placements was at a physical therapy office and another was with my second grade teacher. I realized that I loved being a teacher and decided that's was the educational path I would take. It is also the grade I have fallen in love with and want to teach after graduation. -
Graduated HIgh School Professional
This was a big event in my life. It was a change in pace where I was living at home with my parents to soon living in Jefferson CIty and living on my own. This was a happy and exciting time of celebration with my family and friends. -

Zack Proposed Personal
It was an unexpected event that will always be special to me. A year prior was the first time Zack and I "hung out", We went on canoe trip with two of his other friends. This canoe trip ended up being a 8 mile trip, which was not expected. We continued talking and a year later he propsed on the same weekend at the same place. It was so special and will always be remembered. -
